Chains...
Chains that binds
Your emotions to everyone
Tugging at your wrist
Pulling you along with the others
Feel the pain
Feel the burn
While everyone stares at you
With their eyes wide open
Full of sympathy
Wondering around
As you march down the fields
Alongside the unforgiven

March down the field
Through grassy plains
Treacherous asphalt
And the bodies of the dead
Bones desceased into the ground
But you've noticed
A crackling, ringing sound
As you step over them
The chains around them
That looked like the same
As the one that's pulling
You through this hell
Called life

Follow along the path
In which so many have taken
Stretch your arms out
Hook the chain on
And follow the path of the broken
Don't let your eyes wonder
Don't stop walking
Don't even talk
It doesn't matter anymore
You're around others like yourself
As everyone else shows pity on you
And the person in front
And the person behind
And everyone on that long chain
Of the dead
